A trusted space with trusted people to walk through all the grey areas with, because there’s definitely one thing no one told me: Everything isn’t black and white. Allow me to introduce you to the women walking with you.

Myiah

Style

@myiah_darae

Myiah shows up. No joke, she isn’t afraid to ask questions, reach out and learn from those who might bring value to her everyday. I once set on a balcony at the beach on a Zoom call with Myiah as she shared what she’s most excited about it – and one of those things was leading those coming behind her. Now THAT’S the NOTM dream.

Myiah is the Diversity and Inclusion Manager at Condé Nast, ensuring the development and integration of their global workforce diversity strategy.

She’s passionate about creating space for everyone to grow in their careers, learn and thought-share, while amplifying diverse voices. She currently sits on the Junior Advisory Board in partnership with The Estee Lauder Companies and is a participant in the Condé Nast Reversed Mentorship Pilot Program.

Myiah holds a BS in Communication Studies and International Business from and a Masters of Science in Strategic Digital Communications and Information Sciences from The University of Tennessee. She is coming in STRONG with the things we need to know about personal style – and what we need to leave on TikTok.

Brooke

Health & Fitness

@thefitknox

If you know her, you love her. Seriously. She’s one of those people you look forward to running into – not so much like those people you randomly change course so as to NOT run into. You know what I mean.

Brooke’s heart is people, more specifically teaching people the value of movement, of actually taking care of yourself. A mom of three girls and the BIGGEST hype person you’ll ever meet – her schedule is constantly full. But she started and hosts a community of people who said they wanted to be better than yesterday. Brooke gave them a space and the tools to do it.

And now she’s doing that for us. Recipes, workouts, health tips/tricks – she’s got it all cooking for us. (See what I did there?!)

Choices are easier than you think – she’ll help us understand how to make better ones when it comes to our fitness and health.

Rachel

Beauty

@rachel_h2os

Because this beauty world is overwhelming and there’s one person I instantly text when I’m en route to Sephora – Rachel is filling our gaps because if a product exists, she has either read all the reviews or tried it herself. She’s done my own make-up on MULTIPLE occasions. And my hair, now that I think about it. She really is a woman of many talents.

There’s a connection in feeling confident in yourself and liking how you look. These beauty segments are simply to help you find your niche, find what works and what doesn’t so you can go about whatever is ahead of you.

Rachel is thoughtful and thorough – an incredible combination. Her laugh is infectious and her insights (beauty + non-beauty related) are invaluable. Just go ahead and start budgeting, because we’re going to learn a lot.

Allysen

Mindfulness

Freedom Counseling

“You should ask my friend Allysen to be a part of it.” That’s how I met her and I couldn’t love the person who suggested the introduction more. I met Allysen just 30 minutes before she shared at our Summer Collective. We had texted back and forth, planning content – but I was really just riding the recommendation of a friend I trusted. And Allysen delivered.

She’s always the one to ask, “And what do you think?” She waits to hear you – all the way. Allysen is going to be the one to mention the angle you didn’t think about and maybe, just maybe, lightening what is heavy starts by you putting something down.

Allysen holds multiple degrees, which I admire so much, but it’s her Biblical, Jesus-centered approach that keeps me reaching back out. Self-care is great and all, but I think we could all benefit from a little more soul-care.

Allysen will bring us fresh takes and tried-and-true tactics to make mindfulness, self-awareness, more of a practice than an idea.

Lindsay

Creative Director

Lindsay Brine Design

“Why couldn’t you?” That’s Lindsay’s response to most ideas. Even when it came to this website building. The constant, “Do you think this works?” is what I thought would do her in. And yet, here she still is. Because she’s a believer in big ideas and purpose.

It’s her eye and incredible talent for design that brought the refresh NOTM needed.

Truthfully, she’s a dream-builder. Multiple degrees and awards, big ol clients that would make your eyes go wide – and she still shows up and helps her people figure out HTML code and where it goes.

Aesthetic is a big deal in this arena. Lindsay is making sure everything is nice to look at, branding is consistent and more than anything – that we keep going.

Kaley

Faith & Culture

@kaley_hollingsworth

Kaley is an enneagram 8w8 who thrives on black coffee and The Office. If she’s not taking photos of her dog, Jack, she’s probably at the gym throwing around more weight than most guys I know or daydreaming about her next meal (chips & salsa, anyone?)—or both. But what she’s really fired up about is helping people see the value of the Word of God in this current moment and teaching them how to break it down into practical pieces.

Kaley has a B.S. in Child and Family Studies – Community Outreach and a M.A. in Christian Studies. My two favorite things about her – perspective and discernment. She sees things differently than most, and can define what can – at times – feel undefinable.

As our Faith & Culture Contributor, Kaley will take the grey areas that are usually created when faith + culture collide, and provide tools to give color and shape to what feels too big to understand.

Sarah

Beauty

@sarahstrongcain

One time Sarah did a make-up tutorial on her IG and I was hooked. How did she actually make her eyelashes look THAT long?! Also, the effortless waves – how much effort does it really take? These are the things I immediately asked her, because the people (i.e. me) needed to know. I was helping us all.

And now, we can share the wealth of information that is someone who takes the time to try new products and tricks. Because that’s for sure not me. I’ve used the same mascara since I was 16. Sarah is a new mom learning brand new rhythms – but you’ll find her helping us figure out the big world that is beauty, all while grabbing at the paci that OF COURSE fell between the couch cushions.

Candice

Home Life

@candicecornett.photo

Candice has an eye. Literally, and figuratively. I don’t know what I felt the need to add literally. I mean, clearly she has an eye. BUT I DIGRESS. Candice is a photographer who can see what a space can be before anyone else. Whereas I look at a pillow in HomeGoods for 24 minutes because I know I like it, but have no real idea how to utilize it.

Candice pursues vibes in the least 2022 way possible. What I mean is, she can deconstruct and put together spaces, photos, environments and then highlight the beauty in each of them. She can DIY + Google her way through most anything and THAT’S the kind of knowledge I’m looking for. Don’t make me figure it out – just tell me, you know what I mean?

I’ve known Candice for years and what I most admire about her is her willingness to try. To start. I know I, for one, could always use more of that. Also, my pantry. It could use a little trying.

Sierra

Lead Curator

@sierralakay

Name a person – I bet Sierra knows them. She makes friends everywhere she goes and she is so stinking passionate about connecting people to each other and is the biggest cheerleader (which is just slightly adjacent to her history as a collegiate dancer).

When I shared the first details of The Collective – Sierra was the one to call right out of the gate, saying, “I want in.” She sees the value in building a place for women to pursue the more Jesus has for them. Sierra has been integral in execution and in adding value by pulling from her deep reserves of people and personal experience.

She’s a newlywed with a job in career/leadership development and is one of NOTM’s OGs.

A curator is a gatherer. Of resources, people, content, encouragement – and Sierra is the perfect fit for what we’re building.
